$118Sardinia, Italy. 100% Vermentino. Okay y’all this is a wild ride – heady wine drinkers, look no further! Golden/amber color with cherry, fig & peony on the nose. Spontaneous fermentation in concrete tanks with absolutely no filtration (sediment-y AF). Peach and date on the palate, high tannins, long finish. Powerful but never aggressive.

Grenache Noir, Grenache Blanc, Counoise, Roussanne, Syrah, Bourboulenc, Cinsault. 10 day co-maceration of Grenache Noir and Grenache Blanc, 8 day co-maceration of Counoise and Roussanne, 5 day co-maceration of Bourboulenc and Cinsault. Beautifully intentional. Tiny vineyard – only 5 hectares! Extremely limited and particular.

2019 Veema Rouge
$56Languedoc, France. 45% Grenache, 35% Syrah, 20% Carignan. An excellent display of southern rhone with some additional brightness from the carignan. Jammy plum and some blackberry, tidbits of vanilla from the oak, lighter and dry. Gritty and delightful.
