By the Bottle
All bottles are at least certified organic, with most being certified sustainable and biodynamic. This list focuses on small producers that put a lot of love and joy into their wines.
NV Alma for Almacita Sparkling Rosé
$48Mendoza, Argentina. 100% Pinot Noir. Gorgeous, tiny, tight bubbles that leave a salted watermelon and ripe cherry taste on the end. One of those bottles that drains before you even realize it!
NV Flama Roja Cava Brut Rosat
$48Catalonia, Spain. Blend of Paradella & Trepat. Dry, slightly salty, strawberry, pomegranate, slightly herbaceous. Super tight bubbles, traditional, nice roundness from sitting on the lees for 14 months before bottling, giving it a little more of a delicate mouthfeel.
2020 Vins el Cep Kila Cava Brut
$48Penedes, Spain. 50% Xarel·lo 25% Macabeu 25% Parellada. A bottle from the pioneers of biodynamic sparkling wine in this region. Sophisticated bubbles with aromas of pear and honeysuckle, followed by notes of cooked apple, pear, and a little ginger on the palate. Creamy finish, easy drinking.
2022 Otto's Constant Dream 2022 "Orbis Moderandi" Sauvignon Blanc Petillant Naturel
$56Marlborough, New Zealand. 100% Sauvignon Blanc. Don’t be freaked by a NZ Sauvignon Blanc! This pet nat is so lovely, with notes of grapefruit oil, green apple, papaya. Drying and not sweet, but enough fruit flavor to act as a perfect aperitif.
2022 Lares ‘Wicked Liquid’ Rosé Frizzante
$68Willamette Valley, Oregon. 39% Pinot Blanc, 32% Dolcetto, 16% Pinot Noir, 10% Muscat, 3% Syrah. Gorgeous, crushable, fruity pink bubbles made by a super cool husband and wife team. Raspberry and cream, tart cherries, apricot and peach skin. Bright, light, with a slight herbal finish. This is a party bottle!
NV Champagne A. Bergére Origine Brut
$114Champagne, France. 70% Chardonnay, 25% Pinot Noir, 5% Pinot Meunier. This beautiful expression of champagne is a little rounder than we normally drink around here, but it stopped us in our tracks. 5 grams dosage makes it a little fruitier and a little more velvety on the palate. Champagne fixes everything.
2021 Fruitiere Muscadet Gneiss de Bel Abord
$48Loire Valley, France. 100% Melon de Bourgogne. Elegant muscadet with floral aromas, soft fruit, brisk acidity and a mouthwatering, salty sea air minerality that keeps you asking if your glass can be filled.
2023 Entre Vinyes ‘Oniric’ Blanc
$48Penedes, Spain. 100% Xarel-lo. Husband and wife team that built an experimental plot from the ground up. An absolute pleasure to drink. This wine is mineral-driven, clean yet textured, and juicy. Layered with fresh notes of stone fruit and a saline finish.
2023 Domaine des Lampyres H20 Blanc
$66Languedoc-Roussillon, France. 60% Grenache Blanc, 40% Grenache Gris. I haven’t loved a wine this much in a while. Floral, but not overpowering; from schist, sandy soil, giving it mouth-watering minerality, enticing texture from slight malolactic fermentation, lemon oil, little herb, little salt.
2023 Luigi Baudana ‘Dragon’ Langhe Bianco
$48Piedmont, Italy. 45% Chardonnay, 25% Sauvignon Blanc,25% Nascetta, 5% Riesling. Super unique blend from this region. Crisp acidity but buttery texture (not flavor) from sitting on the lees; fresh green grass, wild honeysuckle, candied tangerine peel, lemon, crunchy pear on the palate. Easy and fun while also making you think just a little.
2022 Camarda Bianco
$66Sicily, Italy. 70% Carricante, 30% Minnella, Cataratto & Inzolia. Grown on the slope of Mt. Etna, thriving amongst lava rocks and olive trees in volcanic soil. 5th generation winemakers, ran by a mother and daughter full of love. Dry with deep minerality, low acid, uncomplicated and absolutely lovely. Herbaceous, lemon oil, faint apricot.
2022 Grape Abduction White (1L)
$50Stajerska, Slovenia. Blend o fPinot Blanc and Muscat. Slovenian wines + spicy food = match made in heaven. A bright and refreshing nose with aromas of white flowers, citrus, white peach, and lychee. On the palate, the wine is crisp and vibrant, keeping you coming back. Calls for a porch and your best friends.
2022 Stirm ‘Calcite’ White
$52Cienega Valley, CA. 44% Riesling, 56% Chardonnay. One of the best wines I’ve tasted this year. Fresh, electric notes of orchard fruit and honey from the riesling, perfect pillowy roundness from the Chardonnay. Calcite, an ancient limestone rock, is extremely rare in California, providing a unique minerality.
2022 Lioco Sonoma County Chardonnay
$78Sonoma County, California. 100% Chardonnay. A rare heat wave into a major rainfall has given this vintage major complexity, dividing it into 3 chapters: fruit picked before the heat/rain, picked during the heat/rain, and picked after the heat/rain. Mouth-watering, steely freshness, with tangerine and fennel on the nose, leon custard & stone on the palate, and an overall deeply concentrated, brilliant flavor.
2023 Mary Taylor Coteaux Giennois Blanc
$62Loire Valley, France. 100% Sauvignon Blanc. This wine is a delight for all Sancerre lovers, with a nicer price tag. White blossom and forest floor on the nose, with familiar red apple, dried grass and summery herbs on the palate. This wine is as much of a delight as Mary is. Delicate, lovely, all with an enticing finish.
2023 Bodegas Latue Rosado
$48La Mancha, Spain. 100% Tempranillo. Female winemaker! Deep rosé with notes of strawberry, peach, tart cherry, and hibiscus. Slightly fuller bodied, yet perky and extremely refreshing.
2023 Gonc Winery Cuvee Anna
$48Stajerska, Slovenia. 50% Žametna črnina, 20% Pinot Noir, 20% Pinot Grigio, 10% Blaufränkisch. Bone dry with peach and watermelon and minerality that will have you coming back for more, almost nostalgic in a way. Extremely charming, not fussy, certified crusher.
2022 Scenic Valley Farms Pinot Gris
$50Williamette Valley, Oregon. 100% Pinot Gris. A combination of skin contact and carbonic maceration creates a creamy textured wine the color of a penny. Aromas of peach, straw and wet concrete lead to earthy flavors like oregano and cantaloupe, with traces of raspberries and brown sugar.
2022 Pax Trousseau Gris, Fanucchi-Wood Road Vineyard
$70Sebastopol, CA. 100% Trousseau Gris. Bright, fresh, and clean, with fresh summer fruits and stone fruit aromas. Pronounced florals, and exotic spices, this California Original is all about having fun and enjoying life with a glass of wine in your hand.
2023 Queen of the Sierra Co-Ferment (served chilled)
$64Sierra Foothills, CA. Separate co-ferments of Albariño and Tempranillo, Barbera and Vermentino, Chenin blanc and Pineau d’Aunis, Trousseau and Chardonnay, & Zinfandel and Verdelho. This wild blend says it all! This wine is not a white, red, or rosé, but the best of all 3. Once these pairs were fermented together, their outcomes were all combined, resulting in a juicy, complex treat.
2023 Uivo Renegado (served chilled or not chilled)
$64Douro, Portugal. Field Blend. This bottle is so special! Over 25 varietals of red and white indigenous grapes, harvested separately, then then macerated and blended. Raspberry, cranberry, slightly earthy, herbal, light, refreshing, bright acidity, clean. The kind of bottle that keeps you coming back!
2022 Martha Stoumen Post Flirtation Red (Chilled)
$60California. 62% Zinfandel, 34% Carignan, 3% Pinot Noir, 1% Petite Sirah. This kitchen chameleon carries out banner for California crowd-pleasers. Year after year, excellent sourcing & careful blending yield a heart-warming wine that’s at home in a bustling hearth. This vintage has aromas of yeasty chocolate and a hint of rose.
2022 Herencia Altes Garnatxa Negra
$48Catalonia, Spain. 100% Garnacha. Earthy, chocolate covered cherry on the nose. Palate is juicy at first, then ends with nice, soft tannins. Darker red fruits, red currant, light to medium bodied, dry, easy drinking.
2022 Nicosia ‘Linza Di Munti’ Nerello Mascalese
$48Sicily, Italy. 100% Nerello Mascalese. Vivid ruby red from hearty volcanic soil. Floral scents with notes of wild strawberry and red currant, with slightly spicy hints on the nose. A dry, juicy and harmonious taste, with great freshness and a long, fruity finish.
2022 Pecchenino San Luigi Dogliani Dolcetto di Dogliani
$52Piedmont, Italy. 100% Dolcetto. Bright cherry, kirsch, boysenberry, violets and wet stone are the hallmarks of this rich, vibrant and harmonious dolcetto. Medium bodied, great structure, supple, ripe tannins, silky finish. Pleasant and attractive.
2022 Chateau Coupe-Roses ‘Bara Gwin’ Minervois
$62Languedoc, France. 35% Cinsault, 35% Grenache, 30% Syrah. The pretty product of the newest generation making wine in a 12 generation, elite winemaking family. A brother and sister with a passion for natural wine created a bottle with aromas of rhubarb, mulberry and black cherry, and a palate of dark red fruit, warming spices and velvety tannins.
2022 Redolent ‘Reverb’ Pinot Noir
$70Willamette Valley, Oregon. 100% Pinot Noir. This bottle captures the essence of a light, fun, yet refined pinot noir. Red cherries, strawberries, and bramble on the nose. Freshly picked backyard raspberries and tart cranberry on the palate. A perfect companion for any occasion.
Textura Dao Pretexto Tinto
$70Dao, Portugal. Field blend of Touriga Nacional, Jaen, Alfrocheiro, and Tinta Roriz. Very expressive in red fruits, with the evidence of cherry. The mouth goes with the fruit along with good acidity and a fresh and vegetable character. Tannins are present but smooth and it has a long finish. An elegant wine with the typical freshness of Dão.
